At Home With PlayFaire: @life.with.madison.evie
3 Min Read
Nestled in a character-filled Victorian home in Yorkshire, Natasha — the creative mind behind @myvintageyorkshirehome — brings warmth, creativity, and a touch of magic into everyday life with her daughter, Lottie.
From slow weekends filled with imaginative role play to interiors layered with vintage charm, her parenting style feels both grounded and deeply inspiring.
We caught up with Natasha to chat about her journey into content creation, the story behind @myvintageyorkshirehome, and what playtime really looks like behind the scenes...
"We’re a little family of three based in Yorkshire, living in a Victorian home full of character. I’m a mum to Lottie — our curious, imaginative little girl — and content creation became a natural extension of our everyday life.
My background is in design and art direction, and I’ve always loved creating visuals that tell a story. After becoming a mum, I started documenting the small, beautiful chaos of family life, and that gradually evolved into becoming a UGC creator and working with brands I genuinely love.
It’s a way for me to blend creativity with real, meaningful moments."
"With a toddler around, there's always space for a little magic and play"
"Everywhere — nature, old picture books, vintage design, and watching how Lottie interacts with the world.
I also draw a lot from independent makers and slower-living creatives. I think inspiration is everywhere when you start looking through a child’s eyes."
"It’s a mix of traditional Victorian layered with soft, playful touches. My style leans toward timeless design, brought to life with:
• Vintage finds
• Soft pastel tones
• A sense of lived-in warmth
"Get them into nature as much as you can, even from a young age. Helping little ones notice and appreciate the outdoors early on really shapes the way they explore the world.
I also really believe in quality over quantity when it comes to toys, a few well-loved pieces go a long way.
And always remember that every child is different, it’s okay to go at your own pace. I follow a lot of creative mum and toddler accounts for fun play inspiration too!"
Creative, open-ended, and always full of imagination. Our playroom is styled like a mini market, and it’s usually busy with pretend play.
One moment we're at the bakery, then we're quickly getting an ice cream at the ice cream cart. Role play is a huge part of our day — and it spills into every room of the house!
"PlayFaire stock so many of my favourite brands
It's so hard to choose just one!
But right now, I’ve got my eye on the Le Toy Van dolls house furniture range at PlayFaire. Lottie’s dollhouse is seriously lacking in furniture, and their sets are just the right mix of charming and classic to bring it to life."
Whether she’s capturing quiet moments at home or dreaming up the next pretend play adventure, Natasha reminds us that magic often lives in the little things, a beautiful thought for anyone navigating the early years of parenthood.
